HOW

Email is the best way of contact. Please CC the Five Creeks Eagle Chair as well as a 2nd adult to your county eagle project approver.

Each approver has their own set up for approval meetings. 

Application and binder

We allow the Eagle Candidate to decide if they would like to submit it to the council their self, a parent, or an adult leader from the troop.

Hendricks county eagle boards

All Eagle binders need to be turned in by the 1st of the month to make the cutoff for that month's eagle boards that is if they clear council by the by the first Friday of the month.

We follow the council, and all letters should be sent to the council office addressed in this manner.

Schedule

Hendrick/Marion County Boards 

All Eagle binders need to be turned in by the 1st of the month to make the cutoff for that months eagle boards that is if they clear council by the by the first Friday of the month

Scouts will receive an email letting them know that they have been approved to receive their Eagle Board of Review no later than the 3rd Monday of the month. Eagle Boards are done once a month on the 3rd wednesday of each month. Some months we may have to split the boards because of weather or the number of Eagle Candidates.  

Boone, Franklin, and Montgomery counties the county Eagle Board Chairs will contact the Eagle Candidate to let them know when they have arranged the youths eagle board panel. 

Eagle Board Recruits and assigns (this is how eagle boards are built and how the scout will be contacted)

Hendrick/Marion county

They Eagle Candidate is asked to bring 3 adults over the age of 21 with them to the board. Adults are then mixed with other adults that are there for another Eagle Candidate and then the board chair will assign 3 adults that are not in the same unit as the Eagle Candidate to each board.

The Eagle Candidate is emailed with the youths parent and scoutmaster CC on the email . They are asked to RSVP if they will be attending that month's eagle boards. 

Boone, Franklin, and Montgomery county

County Eagle Board Chairs will reach out to the youth either through email or by phone.
